Finally, we released our Portfolio Manager application. Here, we will go through some functions and share the best ways to use the app. This is the link if you haven’t downloaded it already:

For a better experience and reporting, follow the steps as you would do it on a broker!

If you follow the steps in the beginning, it will become very trivial later on. First of all, you need to create a portfolio! Go to the Portfolios from the bottom navigation and click + to create a portfolio.

Name your portfolio and choose the right default currency. You can later add additional currencies.

Now, open the portfolio you just created. You will only see the cash account and an empty portfolio. From the menu, you can add more cash accounts in different currencies.

Just open the cash account and add some cash.

Go back to the main screen and open the Quotes view. Click on the + button and add some companies / ETFs just like on the screenshots below. You don’t have to, you can just go and buy directly, however, you can also set up a watchlist here for future reference. The prices for these tickers will be updated automatically every time you open the Quotes view.

Go ahead and check the company details and its price change over the year!

When you add the company to the portfolio (Buy), there are two scenarios. First, when the company and portfolio currencies are the same. Then, it is easy, just set all the fields and save.

You can uncheck “Withdraw from portfolio’s cash account” if you are adding your old investments and you don’t want to go through adding cash for every old purchase.

When the company currency is different than the one from your portfolio, things get a little bit tricky, but not on this app :)

You can either add your investments by using your portfolio currency, or the company. In both cases, the secondary price will be calculated automatically by using the latest exchange rate. If the exchange rate was different when you made the investment, you can still modify it manually:

Buying a $ company with € while calculating with € (1) and $ (2).

After you create a transaction, it will be visible on your portfolio overview. There you can see the list of your investments, cash accounts, and the change over time. You can click on the cash accounts or your investments to see the transactions and make adjustments.

If you swipe right, you will see a pie chart illustrating your asset allocation.

And, that is it! There are many other features that you can dig into and find out yourself! Hopefully, more will come soon enough.

Here you can check our roadmap and find the features we are working on:
